Compared with the original US and UK albums this UK CD was poorly packaged. Sound quality was good but tracks do suffer from tape hiss. |
COMMENTS
Both US and UK versions of The Good Book came sumptuously (but differently) packaged. The US issue came in a heavy card royal blue sleeve, the Good Book (lyric booklet) held in place on the front cover by card tabs. Meanwhile, the UK issue came in a red cover with the Good Book an integral part of the packaging.
Nickel Song b/w Good Book (UK Buddah 2011) was issued as a single in May 1971
The Good Book reached No. 9 in the UK album charts.
