COMMENTS
An album released by Buddah after Melanie left the label, Garden In The City consists of 2 tracks from the soundtrack of the film R.P.M. with most of the rest of the album being made up from out-takes and incomplete recordings released with out permission. Garden In The City was a track Melanie recorded for Columbia records prior to signing to Buddah.
In the UK the album had a special 'scratch n sniff' sleeve with the message 'Rub gently to release the magic of Melanie's Garden.' The album reached No. 19 in the UK album charts.
